I am currently studying my fourth year of Psychological Science under the supervision of Dr. Philippe Chouinard. My interests lie predominately in neuroscience and social psychology; long term, I am interested in understanding consciousness and perception, and as an extension of this, how we come to construct our sense of self.

My thesis this year is on size perception and the visual phenomena of afterimages. I am investigating the contribution of various distance cues which drive Emmert’s law, which states the perceived size of an afterimage will change in direct proportion to the distance one believes they are viewing it from.
